Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-21, last updated 21 October 2026. Plain language where we can, exact where it matters.
Draft. This document is not in force yet: 14 placeholders are still to be filled in (highlighted). It stays out of search engines until they are.
The short version: you pay before the team starts, you connect only stores you are allowed to change, the agents propose and you approve, nothing is published without you, and you are responsible for what you publish. The rest of this page is the exact wording.
1. Who we are and what this is
Agentify (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Company legal name] , of [Registered address] . Agentify is software: a workspace in which a set of AI agents (Atlas, Forge, Muse, Volt, Sieve and Relay) turn a request you write into a brief, a plan, a design, code or content and a review, and, once you approve it, deliver it to your store as a preview or a draft, or as a pull request. These terms apply to your use of the Agentify website, the dashboard at /dashboard and its API (the “Service”).
The Service is for businesses and professionals. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 and are acting for yourself or for a business that you have authority to bind.
2. Your account and workspace
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner. Only the owner can buy or change a plan, connect stores and repositories, and manage members. Members can write and approve requests.
- Give us accurate information and keep your password and any invitation links private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the members you invite.
- Tell us promptly at [contact email] if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Pay first. No request is accepted and no agent runs until a plan is paid for. Plans are monthly subscriptions at the prices shown on the pricing page when you buy.
- Payment provider. Payments are taken by our payment provider (currently Lemon Squeezy), which may act as the seller of record and applies tax. Your card details go to the provider, never to us. The provider’s own terms apply to the payment.
- Usage allowance. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of model usage (counted in tokens), a number of stores and a number of seats. When the allowance is used up the team pauses until the next period starts or you upgrade; nothing is lost, and the request carries on from where it stopped.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & usage. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. [refund policy, e.g. "Fees are not refundable except where the law requires it or where we say otherwise in writing."]
- Changes to prices or plans. We may change prices or plan limits. We will tell you at least [30] days before a change affects your next renewal, and you may cancel before it does.
- If a payment fails and is not recovered, your plan ends and the team stops. Your requests and history are kept (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Your stores and our access
- You authorise us. By connecting a Shopify store, a GitHub repository or any other source you authorise us to read what the agents need to read and to write what you approve, using the access you grant. You confirm you own the store or repository, or have the authority to give that access.
- You control the access. For Shopify the connection is a private app that you create and install in your own account; you choose its permissions and can uninstall it at any time, which ends our access. For GitHub you install the Agentify GitHub App on the repositories you choose and can remove it the same way.
- What the Service does to a store. It writes theme files to a new, unpublished copy of your theme; it creates products as drafts, pages as hidden, and menus and collections under new handles; and it does not change anything you already have under the same name. For repositories it opens a pull request and never merges it. It never makes anything public: publishing is always your action.
- We do not ask for access to your customers’ personal data or orders. The permissions we request cover themes, products, pages and navigation.
5. How the agents work, and what you are responsible for
The agents are AI. They are capable and they make mistakes: a build can be wrong, incomplete, or fail in ways that reading code does not reveal. That is why every build is reviewed by a QA agent, shown to you with a preview, and only shipped when you approve it. Because of this:
- Review before you approve, and before you publish. You decide whether work is correct, accurate, lawful and suitable for your store and your customers. Approving a build and publishing it are your decisions.
- Check facts. The agents are told not to invent claims, reviews, prices, policies or certifications, and to leave marked placeholders for things only you know. You must fill and check those before you publish. Product, legal, tax, safety and compliance statements on your store are yours.
- No guarantee of outcome. We do not promise that the output will be error-free, that it will work with every theme, app or platform version, or that it will increase sales.
- Back up what matters. The Service works on copies and drafts, but you remain responsible for your store’s data and backups.
6. Your content and what the Service produces
- Your content (your requests, files, brand material and store data) stays yours. You give us a licence to use it only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI and other providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
- Outputs. As between you and us, you own the code, copy and content the Service produces for your requests, to the extent the law allows, and you may use it freely. We do not claim any rights in it. Outputs may include or resemble third-party material (for example standard theme code under that theme’s licence); you are responsible for complying with those licences. AI output may not be unique.
- You must have the right to give us anything you upload or ask the agents to use. You must not ask for work that infringes someone else’s rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, or to build or promote goods or services that Shopify, GitHub or the other platforms you use do not allow;
- attempt to access other customers’ workspaces, probe or disrupt the Service, bypass the payment or usage limits, or overload it;
- try to extract the agents’ instructions or use the Service to build a competing product by copying it;
- share credentials or let people who are not your members use your workspace.
You must also follow the terms of the platforms you connect (for example Shopify’s and GitHub’s). We may suspend access that breaches this section.
8. Third-party services
The Service depends on providers we do not control, including the AI model provider, hosting, database, email, payment and the platforms you connect. Their availability and terms apply to the parts they provide, and the Privacy Policy lists them. We are not responsible for their actions except as the law requires.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, you may cancel under section 3.
10. Our property
We own the Service, its software, design and branding, and the agents’ instructions. These terms do not give you any right in them except to use the Service as described. We welcome feedback and may use it without obligation.
11. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using the Service at any time and cancel under section 3.
- We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires. Where we can, we will warn you first.
- When an account ends we stop acting on your stores. Export what you need first: any request can be downloaded as a case file, and the whole workspace as a project log. What we keep and for how long is in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers and limit of liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties other than those these terms state, including of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales or lost data, or for loss caused by work you approved or published, by a third-party service, or by events outside our reasonable control.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Service is limited to [liability cap, e.g. the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim] .
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for your content, your stores and what you publish on them. You will cover our reasonable losses from a third-party claim that arises from your content, your store, or your breach of section 6 or 7, as far as the law allows.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we will give at least [30] days’ notice by email or in the dashboard, and you will be asked to accept the new version. Using the Service after the change takes effect means you accept it. The version you accepted, and when, is recorded with your account.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by [governing law and courts] , which also decides where disputes are heard, unless mandatory law gives you rights elsewhere. Please contact us first at [contact email] : most problems are solved faster that way.
